I have had these for about a month or so and it still shows kernel version from august 2nd, 2023.

And it won't force me to use google & i don't but it's price is way more than this unit is.

The volume is managed on the box itself not the tv which is great if you lose your remote and want to use the google tv apps remote

Itll change the volume as well super handy if you dont have your remote because your partner is asleep on it and you dont want to wake them with a loud tv

Youll find the occasional bug in software like using the phone app remote it may require you to click it twice to connect but if thats the biggest issue i face ill count myself lucky
