My 2019 mustang didnt support wireless android auto from the factory and although not a huge deal this is much more convenient

The device powers off with the car which is nice just make sure that your data usb port for wired android auto does not stay powered all the time or for a long time after you shut off the car and open the doors otherwise you will stay connected to the vehicle until you are out of range

After several tries i gave up and plugged the adapter into my vehicle

I also have to disable vpn before i start up my car

The only major problem i still have is i could not connect to the adapter using chrome so there is no way to update the firmware if needed
