I use one of the leashes that buckle into the seat belt buckle for my dog in the car and since the velcro slot doesnt line up well it always shifts the hammock

The fabric is stiff our dog doesnt mind and always cool to the touch our dog doesnt mind this either but the zipper doesnt stay zipped up im not crazy about this and has to be pinned
