However if you are close to them like in your backyard and you sleep with you windows open it takes a bit to get used to the high pitched noise that goes off when they are working

They do make a slight buzzing noise about every 30 seconds or so but it is not loud enough to bother me when i am outdoors in the daytime or for the neighbors to hear them
