Pros

Wired headphone or microphone just solves the problem better than bluetooth. This adaptor works at very cold temperatures, unlike my previous adaptor from belkin. The only issues are that the cable has discolored to yellow tint.

Cons

The anker unit always has problems which distorts audio conversations. There is this terrible static that sometimes fades away but never totally goes away.

Anker makes solid products and i recommend them highly.

This has one of the better audio qualities in a dongle, plus it charges my phone.

After trying several and needing to send back because of poor performance or just literally falling apart after a few days use.

The charging port crapped out after a few months use.

Price

Save the $12 and avoid the cheap versions.

Cheap no name i tried (2 for $12):started out with some static when the phone was scrolling.

The only issue is for the cost, i could get a new head unit for my truck with bluetooth for about $50 more.

So it would be a lot more useful, especially for the price, if it had a microphone.

Competitiveness

As bonus this adaptor works at very cold temperatures, unlike my previous adaptor from belkin.

I'm a really slow technology adopter ;) if it breaks, i'll try one of the other brands that also had some bad reviews, but cost less.

In comparison, i rolled the dice on some very cheap adapters.
