Pros

Usb-to-ethernet adapter works perfectly with macbook pro. Works as either primary or secondary wan option on asus rt-ac5300 wifi router.

Metal case, braided cable. The product is solid and handsomely made. Anker's products always provide exceptional quality.

Suprisingly effective simple to use adapter. Save a bunch of money by not having to purchase a whole new external multi adapter.

Just plug into your usb a port and your ready. Essentially plug and play.

No fuss, no muss. Hopefully this lasts.

I purchased this adapter at $23 and worth it!

I'll dock one star for price, but honestly, i'd gladly pay a premium for a product that actually works 100% of the time.

I have tried 5 other brands and they all dropped besides this one.

I bought a different brand which had the base ax88179, and the darn thing had constant disconnects.

This is a replacement for another brand that would constantly drop during the day.

I've tried other brands that were hit and miss- this seems to be reliable.
