Then it started getting faulty and the signal would drop once in a while, this become more frequent over the course of a month.
Do yourself a favor and pitch the junk adapter that comes with the gram and get one on these.

Competitiveness
I also connected it to a win10 ultrabook and a galaxy s10+ which both worked flawlessly.
I can confirm that it works with a google pixel 2 and it works well.
After a bad experience with an adapter from a not very popular brand, i decided to get this one as an replacement.
It has a realtek chip so compatibility shouldn’t be an issue with most systems on the market but i won’t recommend using it with esxi.

If plugged into a dell or acer windows 10 laptop it makes next to no heat but works the same

Notei previously gave this product one star because i noticed speed drop after two month use but i realizedthat this was due to the plug that i used to connect my lan cable aftr changing that it was back to full speed

My wife is the user but she is now hardwired to her new laptop that she apparently did not realize had no ethernet input

Only tested up to 300 mbps download and 20 mbps upload as thats the fastest speed offered around here
