I own a very similar ear thermometer but the ankovo has ywo features that makes the whole difference1 it can work both by sensing temperatures on the forehead or in the ear

When you take you own temperature it is not a big deal but when you take it for others like kids you can read it directly when it is on the back

I like the ankovo because it makes it very easy to figure out if you have fever or not because the color changes from green to red

I do not care that much about having exact readings everytime
