Pros

Love that the dates are pitted. The flavor is very fresh & the quality of the individual dates is very nice.

Some are dry and tougher but most are soft and caramel like. Even the drier ones are ok. Always want to inspect them and make sure there is no pit.

Great for cooking with and adding to smoothies. Arrived in a sealed, fresh pack. Great flavor and excellent packaging.

Cons

Very dry, minimal taste and sweetness. Not edible. Not fresh. Bland sweet flavor and not fresh.

These dates are dried out and hollow. My cheap supermarkets dates taste lightyears better than this. What's worse is that half my bag of dates still contained pits.

Lost a third of packaged item. Just opened the pkg. And they are not returnable. Also damaged the blade of my expensive blender.

Just like other reviewers said, it’s not a high quality of dates, but they’re alright, with the 5lbs bag for $30 i can’t complain.

Price

They work well enough for making homemade date+protein snacks and i'd probably get them again if the price is right.

The price was excellent as well; i will definitely purchase again!

Packaging/appearance

Liked the fresh flavor and the excellent packaging.

Although the packaging only says california dates which could mean anything, they are actually deglet noor dates.

Competitiveness

I compared these to a name brand and these were even better.

I was hoping for medjool dates, but at the price i didn't think they would be.
