We are quite pleased with the performance and would recommend to others.
Relatively easy install & hookup - excellent quality photos/video
I was able to install the cameras at all points of entry the picture quality is about 3 of 5 stars however it's only 720p picture quality.
Live view with the xmeye app is good enough to catch wrongdoings in progress or after the fact.
Competitiveness
Easy to set up and awesome features for the price.
I chose this system as this is priced reasonably for an 8 channels 720p, 1tb hdd system although this system only came with 4 cameras.

Liked the system a lot but camera view is very narrow almost impossibly small area of view even from second story for my purposes

Unfortunately the motion detection is a complete waste of time and unusable as it alerts you every few seconds even though there is no motion

The night vision wir cut is ok at best my cameras are up high
