Very nice sealing lid to keep evaporation to a minimum on long cook times. Shape of the container keeps the water swirling and circulating in an elliptical flow.
The anova culinary cooking container is exactly what i was looking for. It fits my chefman sous vide machine like a glove. This is a well made container and a definite must if you are doing any sous vide cooking.

Sturdy and made with polycarbonate material. It's sturdy, thick and doesn't warp in any way. A little pricy but well made.

Container has warped and the grate can no longer sit in the corresponding slots on the container.

The rubber fitting does catch on the anova when i remove it from the container though

It is inconvenient to open the lid mid cook because the slot the cooker fits in is tight and doesnt allow for easy access on the cooker end

The sides bulge out a tiny bit once it has water in it which means one side of the lid doesnt completely seal

In many other brands just the lid is 100 then you have to add the container and the rack so your looking at close to 200 dollars

I was hesitant to buy this product because few reviews mentioned that when full of water the container loose it shape and therefore the lid is not closing right
