I recently got a wall mount for the flatscreen tv in my den and found to my dismay that i didnt have an audio cable for my speakers quite long enough to reach without being way too long

Plus the audio cable was plugged into the side of the tv but then bent toward the back where all the other cables are gathered to feed into the wall mount and down the cable guide which caused strain on the connector

Im not a professional audio person so i cant comment on the sound quality but to my untrained ear it sounds identical to directly plugging in the cable that im extending

Regarding build quality its sufficient for its purpose the connectors are housed in plastic but theres good strain relief at both ends and the female connector grips tightly

Its a cheap component for a niche use but both of those were pluses for me and it worked fine for my needs
