They are made of a sturdy plastic and the ziplock closure slides smoothly when opening and closing plus theres a stop at each end so the slider wont slide off

The zippers are sturdy i could see enough through the mesh to know what was in each and they did not add any weight to my suitcase

I bought these before a plane trip in which we couldn’t bring a carry one so we had to put 5 people’s clothes into one checked bag
