At the beginning when they barked the device emitted the noise and they went silent.
Within one week my wiener dogs are trained not be bark at every noise.

Honestly i think hes a special needs dog because he literally has a memory span of 30 secs and thru the last 2 years i have tried all kinds of things like bark collars and i really dont like them because they do shock the dogs and sometimes they hurt if you dont know try one for yourself i did and i havent used them since
