Great price on 16gb for an old laptop.

For the price in 2024 it was worth it to double the memory in my old laptop and get it running on a fresh linux install.

Best of all, my computer is moving faster than dial-up aol, unlike it did right before i installed these card things.

That's how i found out i could do this, because dell and crucial's site says the max is 8gb.

I have the 2540m, which intel lists as a 16gb max chip.

Hp said the system could only go to 8, but a dos command said the system could do 16.
