My other two still work great, they're just getting scratched and dinged more than i like. The battery lasts a really really long time. It blows away my expectations.

The helmet is very lightweight and is just right for home projects. It is cheap but you can pickup a good one from any welding supply for a combined price of still less than $100 for everything. Only complaint is that the helmet will slowly creep down... Read More

It works, it's easy to adjust, (maybe too easy) and it always plops down to the same place when you nod your head to start welding. The other think i like is the head band is a ratchet style so it won't loosen up on your head.

The real battery is a cr2450 and it’s on the backside of the side adjuster.
