The coolest thing about this is that it rotates like you phone so when you rotate the screen it knows to convert it. Also it reformats the image to fit the screen orientation. This is awesome if you are using it to read a document. I work in a field w... Read More

Unplugging the monitor solved the problem. Connection is best with usb 3. It hooks up via usb-c and charges it at the same time. It comes with the usb cable.

That works nicely. Even with these minor issues, it's still worth it for the price.

Cons

The screen regularly loosing connections and going dark, after 4-5 seconds is back on however it is extremely annoying. The color is also off and monitor is very reflective.

The picture quality is decent and it does not strain the eyes too much.

Competitiveness

I had to return the monitor because my relatively new pc did not have a usb3 port.

You will have to download displaylink software, just google it.

Do not get a renewed unit and buy one via the proper retail price.
