Initially the monitor would lose the usbc connection whenever the screen saver engaged or the monitor went to sleep

I had to manually change the mbp video settings to 2560x1440 using an aftermarket application on board mbp settings didnt have that option

I have yet to find a way to get pbp to work properly with dp

In pbp mode the monitor connected to dp aspect ratio will not change on that 12 of the screen monitor maintains native ratio of 329really stretched out no matter the settings on your video card
