Pros

This is a great portable monitor that is very slim and light. The display is small and easy to get into a backpack. The screen is the perfect size, lightweight, convenient to carry, easily fits in my backpack.

If you are looking for a cheap extra screen to look at spreadsheets, powerpoints and email messages, then this is the right tool for the right price. Unplugging the monitor solved the problem. Install a desktop lock app like desklock 1.

Cons

The plastic edges of the monitor are very flimsy and provide very little protection to the led screen. On the actual monitor it blinks green for about 5 seconds then back yellow. The screen powers on, but only displays random lines and some fine crack... Read More

Most frustrating part is i can't return it as amazon’s return window have expired. Unprofessional email system. Took hours to back out of the issue - hardly worth it - more like worthless.

On windows laptop - worked consistently, then stopped working. It also makes the laptop extremely hot, leading it to lag. Disliked that the product was not plug and play with windows 10 and 11 laptops.

The screen quality and brightness is fantastic!

The display is of great quality for a portable monitor.

My usbc port does not support displayport alt mode so every monitor i had tried was requiring at least two cables which was annoying.

The monitors will always sit a little slanted and it will not be able to stand straight unless you figure out a way to hold the monitor.

Great for the price and i definitely recommend

I highly recommend this little guy to anyone looking for an affordable monitor for an on-the-go gamer or developer.

I bought a returned one, at a big discount off the new price.

Arrived fast and was packaged well and in great condition

I pack it in my suitcase instead of my laptop bag just because it’s not super thin.

As you see in the picture it's a little bit too much dimmed out but other than that it's a pretty cool monitor and very portable😼

Competitiveness

At the end of the day, i do think the asus is superior to the aoc in regards to weight, thinness, and portability.

If you have a similar issue with no displayport alt connectivity.

The only negative when compared to the asus is that the aoc is thicker than the asus (aoc 1.

This aoc model is comparable in price to the asus usb-c model.
