The ghosting is down right awful. It is so bad it made me physically sick. Had it next to a gigabyte monitor in a 2 monitor setup and colours were so washed out, decided to send back. Dead pixels are a serious thing.

Competitiveness
Going from 75hz to 165hz makes a huge difference.
While i'm not using the full 165hz refresh rate, i am keeping it at 144hz which i'm used to.

Sadly day after i turned it on for the first time i got a single dead pixel but its topleft of my screen and not noticeable at all unless im on a light background

The lg automatically switches between non hdr and hdr vrr game modes etc etc while this model does not

You cant change many settings if you have set the hdr to on everything has to be set manually using fiddly buttons on the bottom of the unit

My initial thoughts however were not so positive as the picture set up straight out of the box is nothing short of terrible

The brightness was way too high and the colours were massively over saturated

The on screen menus for adjusting the image are a little confusing and the process of adjustment is made harder by the hidden buttons that select the adjustment functions

To add to this there is no real documentation included in the box and even the online manual is less than helpful
