Be aware that the kvm functionality only supports two machines

In theory you can connect three machines one to each video input but only two of them will switch the keyboardmouse inputs

The kvm functionality works through usbc to one machine and usbb to the other

This is expected but what may not be expected is that any devices connected to the usb ports on the monitor will be immediately disconnected from one source and connected to the other

The os will object that usb drives or phones etc have not been unmounted safely if youve connected them to the ports on the monitor and then switch to another display sourcemachine

If not you risk data loss as you switch machines and os objections

Unsurprisingly the audio port also switches between machines so you cant have one machine outputting sound through the monitors ports while working on the other machine

None of this is meant as a criticism of the monitor it works exactly as designed but as there is no documentation explaining the kvm functionality in the manual it took some trial and error to understand the implications of the kvm on the usb ports in the hub portion of the monitor
