The halo has a cord with the control and usb plug. It also comes with a wall adapter, which is very convenient. The power cord can be plugged into most usb ports, but an adapter is included. It even comes with usb adaptor.
The telescopic pole has a really wide range of approx. Inches. The hoya pictured is over 2 feet high, the light provides coverage for the top two thirds.

The design is super similar to others lights i’ve tried.
Also like there are red diodes involved, unlike some where there is only the full spectrum white light.

The bottom peice that goes into the dirt completely snapped off when i extended it

As well the buttons were mixed up power was the switch setting and the switch setting was the timer button
