Ebike kit impression ---overall, i am extremely satisfied with the ebike kit.

So far i am very happy with this purchase.

The lcd works pretty well and the thumb throttle is very responsive.

I had written a first review giving the kit 3 stars, now i'm changing it to 5 stars despite some serious problems with the documentation.

Price

So for the price, i give it 5 stars.

Shipping

I got this entire kit for $219 on amazon with $15 for shipping!

It is fast, maybe too fast, but i am working on the handling aspects of a very fast bicycle.

Packaging/appearance

I used wood and packaging tape to secure all the batteries and wiring together.

My background in electronics, bikes, and batteries prior to building the ebike was pretty much non-existence.

Competitiveness

I am using a 48v 12ah sla battery array made up of 4x 12v 12ah sla batteries wired in series.

Only use 48v 15a and higher for this kit if you want the range and powepower!

If you are using a 1000w motor you should get a battery that matches the full throttle draw (1000w).

Just assembled (easier than expected) with a 48v 20ah lithium ion battery, and this bike moves!
