Light is quite nice and reassuring. Great to have a prominent indicator to reassure me that the thing is working. Only complaint is the lack of a 90° plug.

Each plug has a slider to cover when it is not used. Some outlets are spaced for the bigger plug things. There's enough room to fit the big adaptors.

First impression is everything. It is a relief that this works well. It definitely lives up to my expectations from reviews and research.

Thick power cord handles high amperage no sweat. I like the spacing of the outlets and the cord seems to be just long enough without being too long. I wish the power chord were longer and that the strip wouldn't topple over.

The p12u2 surge protector has a high joules rating, with a decent clamping voltage. There are two parameters that define the worthiness of an electrical surge protector:1. Clamping the lower, the better.
