The apc ups is great! Highly recommend this. No complaints from me, everything works as intended. Aida64 picks up on the sensors, and the status can be displayed on the sensor panel, etc.

Cons

Back-ups xs-1000 is a total piece of junk. I have just my desktop computer plugged in, yet twice this week power outages shut down my computer. I now believe that the ups wears out the battery prematurely.

Tried contacting support warranty, no response. Have had no luck in returning the item. It's not on their list. Amazon need a process in place to know they have old stock that will fail based on exceeding shelf life.

User's manual needs to be seriously rewritten. What i don't understand is how hazmat concerns apply to trash. At all. Support is terrible. Poorly designed indeed.

Love this - its slim and does a great job and super easy to set up

It has a battery and will keep your electronics on after your power goes out, it can then safely save and shut down your computer.

These are not really good for keeping gaming machines alive for a few hours while the power is out.

This thing has not failed me and keeps the voltage constant for my gaming pc.

Worth the extra $$ over a more basic unit i think.

Fairly priced and offers a generous warranty from a well-known company.
