First impression - it's heavy! This supply is really great. The power out seems to be high quality and noise free enough. The smt-1500 is a sweet spot on the price curve for us.

Cons

They feel no obligation to be conscientious that this thing is not something that any battery company or landfill wants to contend with. Oh sorry, this is not returnable. When it comes in destroyed and very obviously used and re boxed that is some *.

Rivets are strong yes, but even know it's a lazy solution. Then, predictably, it dies. Replacements from apc are equally as defective.

The interface is great and gives me lots of useful information and everything i have hooked up to it appears to be happy.

These machines are very picky with the wavelength they like to take and i was having issues with my prints failing due to interference.

Ordered 3000va and when it arrived the packaging was in tatters (but then again, it is about 100 pounds, so not the surprised).
