Bx700ui battery is very easy to replace. Back up battery time depends on unit loading. Impressive predicted battery life even with the pc running at 100%.
Attached a usb lead to my synology nas and it was instantly recognised. I like the fact that the pc control connection is now usb and not a network type cable.
Cons
Manual states it is not user replaceable. This simply isn't ethical. Graceful shutdown is basic functionality in even budget upss, and this model utterly fails at this, rendering it just a battery.

I am very happy with the product and the professional support available from the manufacturer, schneider electric.
Price
As specified, the lack of a user-replacable battery needs to be carefully considered, price was good.
Competitiveness
I've only recently had this type with iec outlets on the rear instead of 3-pin sockets on the top.

It has only been off once when i had a power failure which lasted 40 hours during which the automatic shutdown software downloaded from the apc website cut in and safely shut down my server

Note the outlets are iec sockets not 3 pin plugs so you may need an adapter

This unit does not create any noise as there are no fans when it is on battery backup mode there is an audible buzzing noise along with the usual warning beep

It will automatically trigger a graceful shutdown when the battery reaches the critical battery remaining level which by default is 5 however i increased this to 20 to ensure my server had enough time to complete shutdown and that is all without the need to install any additional software on your computer
