Pros

This unit is perfect for those who are looking for a bu for their internet modem/router/wifi. I have all of my peripherals in one power strip, and the power strip plugged into the ups. This saves certain wifi equipment from not connecting properly to ...  Read More

This is the 3 rd one ive purchased and they work great. This equipment is a peace of mind purchase despite the entry-level retail cost-to-value benefit. Pretty pleased with this purchase.

Capacity is enough for a few small devices. More than enough time for me to safely power down my media server.

Cons

Battery replacement is almost impossible if you don't have the long thin phillips head screwdriver. The batter is not user replaceable. This is horribly irresponsible.

Every morning it's screaming & blinking red. At least once every 2 weeks i have to turn everything off, unplug everything and power cycle the ups because it keeps throwing a battery failure error. A flashing red/green power button and a constant, ...  Read More

Quality

This was purchased to use with the broadband equipment that my internet provider utilizes.

Fed-up with the outages, i purchased the apc ups battery back-up for both the socal and nevada homes.

It's a 2-part case with the board sitting in a slot-ish space in 1 half, and the battery seated in the other.

Price

For the price, i think you're getting a lot of utility.

Competitiveness

Great value for money when compared to other alternatives.

I use one of these on both the tv and the pc.

So upgrading to a different apc model.

I need something with a minimum 600w.
