If the power goes out it seamlessly and automatically switches over and keeps your electronics powered up. Works well for a one computer setup plus peripherals. Also plugged into it was the voip phone base unit.

This backup unit is suitable only for a computer and monitor. Attempting to connect additional devices causes it to beep loudly and shut down. After researching it says the circuit breaker button is tripped and has to be pushed in.
