Been a fan of apc forever, both personal and business. Bought one (1350m) in late 2018. These are as good as any other brands i've tried.
Surge protection provided by the unit * high voltage spikes but more importantly, the unit maintains the input voltage at 120vac when a brown-down occurs. Plugged it in to a socket for a day to ensure the battery was charged.

After unplugging and turning back on the second units battery will not charge. I have several apc backups and this arrived doa defective. Apc needs to go back to the old school battery backups.

This ups is perfect for my wife's computer system.
It also takes a looooooong time to recharge.

Well the ups says there is an estimated running time of 165 minutes with this load

I did a real world test and only got about 100 minutes of run time out of it
