Pros

This is a serious, solid unit that hopefully will last a long time. Measured the output with a fluke multimeter and product works as advertised. Works exactly as intended.

Purchased this to level my incoming current fir my entertainment center tv. I have several of them at home, so my most critical equipment is under it's watch without too much hassle.

I figure it's a small price to pay to protect expensive electronics.

Considering the size and weight, the price is a bargain.

This thing came switched as 127v by default; i wasn't paying attention and a week later, it finally was too much for my ups.

I bought this regulator just before cold weather arrived so that we can run the tv, computer, etc.

Upc (battery backup) would not charge when house was on generator power.

Competitiveness

Later i found out that most chinese made audio gear uses transformers wound for 110v, and not 120v.

Most people won't need this, and would be better off just buying a ups.

They recommend setting the selector switch to 120vac for the usa.
