Pros

Ups now passes self-test, passes the unplug the ups input power test [keeps running], and now the ups seems to behave like new. This one is about 1/2 inch thicker then the old battery.

Cons

After installing this new battery, at startup i see the same message, battery needs to be replaced. It is only 8 months and it is sounding the alarm that failure is near. It supposedly is guaranteed by apc for one year.

Perfect fit, easy install, and you can send back your old battery free!

Lasted less then 2 years and no power outages

Battery was installed in april 2019 and is now failing in march 2022 - just under 3 years.

Price

Easy to install so cost saved again as much to replace battery and not the entire unit.

Direct replacement for apc backup power supplies, and they're more affordable than the apc batteries.

I don't know what happened to the price on this, but it has shot through the roof!

The same type of batteries sell for $25 more in ace and other local hardware stores, so wiyh free shipping.

Shipping

Could not return it on a timely basis.

Drawback is no return shipping label provided so i have to take the old battery to a recycling center.

Came as expected, in a timely manner.

The ups has quit giving me warnings to change the battery backup!

Competitiveness

The tabs fit perfectly unlike some off brands which can be narrower or wider.

This pair is the third set since ups purchase.

Amazon sold the battery for less than other suppliers.

I've used other brands and they just don't compare.
