Quality

This is a good unit that can be kept running with a battery replacement.

Reliable, effective and generally able to last for 3+ years.

I have had this for 5 years without any issue; and tested it today by unplugging its cord from the wall.

This time one with a usb interface, stupid serial interface never worked correctly through a serial to usb converter anyways.

Price

But i was able to save it with a $25 replacement 12v 12ah battery on amazon.

Packaging/appearance

It arrived in good shape, great packaging, and an obsolete serial connection which my computer doesn't have.

Competitiveness

Don't get me wrong, a pure sine is electrically superior, but if your pc works off an older/cheaper ups than that is all you need.
