Great unit for network switches and low power items with cloud connectivity

Bought this, plugged it in, let it charge up, then plugged in our electronics and it just works.

This is truly a workhorse of a battery and i oversized it to support my security system and internet connectivity for power outages.

I have a 65" plasma tv, wifi router, modem, and all associated home entertainment gadgets plugged into it.

Price

Great service and the product was at a fair price.

Wish it had an affordable expansion module to extend up time during a power outage.

I wish the replacement batteries would come down in price but that's a wider issue.

Shipping

Apc sent me third one direct from the factory with no issues.

They immediately sent me a replacement without any issue, which is why i have been with amazon for a while now.

Packaging/appearance

Ordered 3000va and when it arrived the packaging was in tatters (but then again, it is about 100 pounds, so not the surprised).

Competitiveness

I won't bad-mouth the other brand that let me down so often, but i'm done taking chances and now just choose apc for reliability.

I purchased the apc 3000va (smt3000c) because of the larger battery compared to the other models.
