Pros

Always relied on apc. No complaints. Great value. No complaint.

Easy to install. Slid the old one out and slid the new one in. Also qualifies you to request a free shipping label from apc.

Cons

Ups batteries last approx 2 years. You get something that is more powerful, uses up less power (greener and cheaper) and reviewers say it works better.

I am very concerned that the batteries may be failing. My battery is just over 1 year old and it’s useless. Oh, well. I'm done with apc, frankly.

This is a genuine apc battery that installs and fires up quickly.

The generic was defective and couldnt power the stove fan for more than a few minutes.

I took apart my genuine apc rbc48 battery when it finally died.

Thank you for carrying the battery for my battery backup unit and at a reasonable price too!

They are easy to install and you can recycle the old battery at a local store for no cost to you.

Popped in the apc oem into the upc in less than 2 minutes and ups now runs perfectly again.

If amazon would ship to my address, i would just buy a genuine apc battery from them.

) but, i called apc and they sent me a replacement under warranty with my proof of purchase from amazon.

It did not hold a charge when received, but charged to full capacity quickly.

Competitiveness

You only need to replace them every few years so makes better sense to just go with the apc brand and not have any worries or problems.

Since they won't however, i will just rebuild the pack with another brand battery that isn't made in china.

Saved a lot of money by buying a replacement battery instead of a new ups.
