Pros
The rubbery area holds the pills in place so the cuts come out evenly. It seems sturdy enough and, after a few months, it still hasn't broken.
Cons
This garbage was made in the usa. It is a shame they cheap-out on the second unit, detracts from an otherwise good product. Save your money.

Tipping the cutter in the hopes they will fall into the storage area is fruitless. The blade gets dull very fast turning the device into a pill crusher. Also does not make clean cuts- lots of crumbs.

So nothing is made as well as it used to be so unless you are willing to pay 20 times the price youre never going to replace your old pill cutter youve had for 20 years with a similar product

The dust from the cut pills doesnt brush off the rubber as easily as it does from plastic

Being made of hard plastic means that if you drop it on a hard floor it will probably snap in twobreak easily

If you wedge the pill tightly into the rear angle the pill is more likely to crumble
