Before i purchased it i went to apex website and wrote to them asking questions and wanting to see the installation guide

They were more than willing to build me a custom filter which i thought i wanted but they ultimately educated me as to why this system was a better option

I bought through amazon due to the fact prime shipping was free verse having to pay a bit for shipping

The unit is just under 60lbs so shipping fees can be pretty high

I took one off start because the first unit i bought never actually shipped and i had to buy a second unit and be refunded for the first

I put in bypasses as well as pressure gauges and union connections which will allow me to simply disconnect remove and remount a new system in the event of failure

If i was doing it myself i would have done it in pex but the install would not have been nearly as well thought out
