I might not be able to do something harder in a single thrust but once the jaws get a grip on what youre cutting you can rest in between thrusts and easily go at it in several passes anchoring one side on the ground and putting your weight into the other handle

They open very far to accommodate larger diameter cuts

Hkporter 0190ac 24inch general purpose center cut bolt cutter are just what they say they are light weight but big on cutting ability i had a pair of 48 inch of my dads from the 50s they are so darn heavy
