Pros

I am unsure exactly if it helped my bettas, but it definitely did not hurt them. The salt really helps with their gill health and the electrolytes from the salt helps detour malawi bloat.


Cons

Aquarium salt is a rip off. May help fish, but * snails. Clean your tank more often, don't try mask poor cleaning by adding salt.

    You cannot just use salt that you buy in the grocery stores not only because of any harmful additives it may contain but also because one tablespoon of fine table salt weighs more than one tablespoon from the large bits of salt from api aquarium salt

    This product last a longs time in our 35 gal tank with weekly water changes but it does not dissolve quickly and the fish seem to think its food if its not completely dissolved when i add the new water
