Quality
I am very happy with this product two years after prchasing.
I'm slowly replacing all of my canister filters with the filstar since it's by far the most user friendly and easiest to clean.
It comes with a output bar along with the single output.
The two hoses that are included with the filstar xp are rather stiff.
Price
I like the price, in comparison its cheap and it does a fantastic job.
For this price, you cannot beat it.

My last two rena filters were ready to go out of the box.
Competitiveness
It's super quiet and filters like a champ.
Other than that, this brand works better than the other brands i have tried.
It cleans well but when i turned off power to change a prefilter sponge it started leaking from 2 corners.
Bought this to replace a malfunctioning fluval fx 4.

This is the pump to haveit is my second onethe first lasted over 10 years and it had to be replaced because we broke the clip for the lid of the canister completely operator error
