It comes with a very handy plastic 5ml test tube that got a lid that is attached. Great value for accurate results. I keep dwarf rams and have a possible breeding pair.

It's highly accurate and results are available within 5 mins - simple to use/mix and gives me peace of mind.
After days of water conditioning (interpet fast filter start and tetra easybalanxe) the nitrite and nitrates are both perfect now.
I had poor water quality and the strips immediately detected high nitrate and nitrite levels.
I had always used test strips, but on using this liquid test, i found my strips were very inaccurate.

Be cautious that inside the pack are 2 colour charts one for freshwater and one for salt water.
Competitiveness
Tested my water supply and then compared with a brita test kit and both were the same.

The kit seems of good quality and is easy to use except the final stage of matching the liquid colour to the colour chart

You really can’t tell the difference in colour between 40 and 80ppm which is quite big difference

The test is carried out by adding the drops to 5ml of water until the colour changes as explained in the supplied leaflet then you would out the ppm by how many drops you added easy
