The pillow is a close fit in the tetra whisper 40i filter's bio-foam tray, for handy drop-in (tank or bucket of tap water) water softening.

Follow the directions on the package for recharging and storing, and this product will not let you down!

The packs (i bought 2) came moist and when you read the instructions, you need to store with aquarium salt to recharge it.
