Pros

Garageband is a sturdy, multispectrum, easy to use multi track recording studio. The loop record function allows me to overdub again and again as i practice a riff. Ilife gives the computer the basics to do simple photo editing, and imovie editing.

Iweb works seamlessly and as a first timer, i was pleased with the results. The help tutorials on apple help are supportive and easy to follow.

Cons

I think apple should have released it as a free software update or at least bundled it with leopard. On one of my machines it just crashes on startup.

Trying to locate specific photos in mac is virtually impossible. Windows and it's 'my pictures' is way, way better. I plan to empty my iphoto library and uninstall ilife 08 asap. Most hold only one photo and have little or no animation.

Apple's help forum is virtually unmanned, except for one regular who has expansive technical knowledge but can't use any of it and gives horrible advice. Do not use these apps for your business. You are told that you are not authorized to import a son... Read More
