However, with the amazon guarantee and the seller’s responsiveness, i would recommend this seller.
It arrived with a couple minor scratches on the screen, but superficial enough to disappear with the screen protector.
Battery life isn't what i thought it would be, but it doesn't take away from the rest of the product.
Packaging/appearance
While the delivery was a bit slow, i appreciated the good packaging and the product is working fine so far.

Most reviews i have read about the ipad processors said that even the processor in the 2018 model was overkill for most apps

Since there is a 90 day amazon guarantee on renewed products i figured the risk was low if i did receive a dud and i could just get a new ipad
