I have an old imac 2009 it was working fine until apple os updates made the machine way too slow and almost useless

So i had to install new updates and got these extra rams to help the machine work smooth enough

My machine shuts down here and there suddenly and restarts fine i had never had these issues before the ram updates though i cant really tell if it is caused due to rams have some compatibility issues or new os gets too heavy for the system

If i was able to keep using my old os el capitan these rams would have made a difference but with sierra and new os updates they barely keeping my machine useful but you might need them due to forced os updates
