This appears to be normal and while it may look a little odd ive not noticed any performance issue or looseness as a result

They dont get hot have never produced an error message on my iphone and are much less expensive than a spare lightening cord or apple charger

The real apple charger puts out 5 volts at 1 amp for a total of 5 watts

Thats the same as most of my old micro usb chargers however i have one old charger that is labeled for 3 amps or a total of 15 watts

They also havent broken due to me rolling over the phone while sleeping which happened with some other brands
