This connector is a must as the one that comes with the power pack does not fit apple products

We all start off with the manufacturer cables that came with whatever device we brought though somewhere down the line it’s been either lost broken or one cable just isn’t enough

Or do we trawl through the vast selection of cables on amazon which are hit and miss in actually working once they arrive all the way from china

Also note that these carry the mfi logo which is a certified logo by apple which basically means that the lightning port has a tiny chip to identify itself to the device

Third party lightning cables that don’t carry the mfi logo may not work properly with apple devices and you’d get the “accessory is not certified” or something like that pop up on your screen
