Took the lightning adapter on the short cable and plugged it into my iphone. Simply hook up hdmi cable to tv and adapter. You plug the lightning plug into your iphone and then you plug the hdmi into its port to display what is on your phone to the tv.... Read More

Cons

Did fine until there was no charging. Have to unplug hdmi and other cables and charge phone separately. I'm so not happy with this because i cannot use this adapter at all since it does not work on my macbook.
