No way of shifting them to usb so this adapter a further square to oblong firewire connector needed to download on to a macbook

Got to admit that it worked flawlessly the device instantly connected and you really wouldnt know that it wasnt running natively over firewire

Intels thunderbolt software will complain the apple adaptor is not certified but you can ignore that message
