Pros

Oled screen offers vibrant colors, sharp text, and excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. The standout feature of the apple watch se is its stunning retina display. I am glad i went with the se because the watch face is more petite.

The touchscreen is responsive and intuitive. The apple watch se supports a wide range of third-party apps, expanding its capabilities and allowing you to customize your experience further. Love the ability to synchronize it with my iphone.

Apple watch se has a built-in heart rate sensor and ecg app. The watch also has handwashing detection, which reminds you to wash your hands for the recommended duration. There are a lot of options for all different types of workouts, which is cool.

Cons

The watch has to be charged each day. If you're a backpacker or remote camper this is an issue. I find the exercise tracker to be pretty useless. This watch is gps only.

Amazon still says “return started” it’s a scam. Started a refund the following day (nov 30). And still no refund and absolutely zero chance of finding any contact information on amazon support.

The screen quality is amazing and i feel like it keeps me off my phone and more attentive to my kids when i wear this.

Because the last apple watch she had literally fell apart after the warranty expired.

So i ordered two of these usb-c charging blocks and the charging cord does not work at all.

Competitiveness

If you want mostly fitness features, i would still go with a garmin but this is the best if you was a lot of smartwatch capabilities.

My wife uses iphone so this is a better match than the fitbit.

Then the 8 is so similar to the se.

Ultimately the ultra has many more features but i won't use most of them.
